Printmaker and mixed media artist
I am a printmaker and mixed media artist. I divide my time between San Miguel de Allende and a small island off the coast of Maine. These diverse environments profoundly influence my creative process. In San Miguel, my colors are more vibrant and saturated, my imagery is taken from the local landscape and culture, and I am deeply moved by the lives and souls of the people. Throughout all of my work, I explore the delicate balance between nature and human experience and search for the places where beauty, vulnerably and resilience meet.
My inspiration is rooted in the natural world, and deeply influenced by culture and change. I use form, texture and metaphor to invite reflection on what we've inherited, what we're losing and what we might still hold on to. The natural world reveals limitless variation in its forms, patterns and colors. These images hold mystery, beauty and the traces of a journey that mirrors our own - an ongoing search for balance and meaning in the physical, spiritual and cultural landscapes we inhabit.
My work is widely exhibited throughout the US and internationally. I am represented by several leading galleries including Artemis Gallery, TAG the Art Gallery, the Boston Design Center and the Mystic Osprey Gallery. I am an active member of several art collectives including Boston-based Shared Habitat Earth, a climate change art and activism collective. In addition to multiple awards, my work has been featured in Boston Magazine, Issuu, and the U.K. publication, Resurgence and Ecologist.

Earthly Vessels invites viewers to reflect on what we hold, what we let go of, and how we navigate the fleeting yet profound moments of existence. The vessels in these works carry life, bounty, hope and harmony. Vessels, both literal and symbolic, serve as carriers of experience, memory, and change, while botanical elements reflect cycles of growth, impermanence, and renewal. Through monotype printmaking and collage techniques, I shape my work to capture the tension between stillness and movement, containment and release, endurance and fragility. In these difficult times in our outer world, we need to keep our vessels full - to sustain us, give to others and persevere.
